JKNPP expresses anguish over the lack of facilities in GMC

Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) on Saturday expressed resentment over the lack of facilities in Government Medical College and Super Speciality hospital Jammu. It showed the hollowness in tall claims of the govt. that health sector is top priority. In a press statement, State secretary JKNPP, Shanker Singh Chib alleged that the Patients in both the hospitals are facing many hardships due to the lack of proper facilities. Even there is no proper adequate equipments to handle the patients. The patients admitted in the emergency wards have to visit the laboratories outside the hospital for getting the emergency tests .The trolleys in the hospitals are defunct while some are without tyres due to which attendants face problems in shifting patients from one place to another. Bathrooms in both the hospitals are stinked.
