Expressing dismay over the stoppage of Shri Amarnath Yatra and alleged manhandling with Yatries in the Kashmir Valley by some anti India and anti-social elements, hundreds of Panther Party activists led by Balwant Singh Mankotia President JKNPP took out a protest rally.
The angry protestors also blocked Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. While addressing the gathering Mankotia blamed BJP-PDP govt for their complete failure to provide security cover to Amarnath Yatra in the Kashmir valley resulting into injuries to yatris and damage to hundreds of vehicles. Mankotia said that state government had released 634 stone pelters three days back in the Valley which is root cause of stone pelting on Amarnath Yatris, he further said that state government is encouraging the stone pelters and anti-national elements in the Valley which is not in the interest of nation. Mankotia pointed out that BJP partnered government in the J&K state had not only release the stone pelters unconditionally but also gave the safe passage to the militants along with their families via Nepal route who were settled in Pakistan twenty years ago, he added that all these so called surrender militants and unconditionally released stone pelters are main cause of unrest in the Valley, he blame the BJP for derailed from its all core issues just for the lust of power and fully surrender before PDP, separatists and all other anti National elements in the valley.
Mankotia warned that if state government fails to restore Shri Amarnath Yatra with full security cover by tomorrow morning, Panthers party will start state wide agitation against the state government.
