JKNPP protests to draw attention of APD

J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today staged a protest demonstration to draw attention of All Party Delegation (APD) and alleged failure of the state government in dealing with present unrest in Kashmir Valley.

The protesters were led by Neeraj Gupta Zonal President JKNPP.

Addressing the protesters, Gupta said that visit of All Party Delegation in the state itself is a prima facie evidence that the present regime PDP-BJP Government is incompetent to tackle the problem of maintaining law and order situation and loss to revenue, education, public property and tourism sector.

He asked the state government for not taking local people of J&K into confidence.

He demanded from All Party Delegation to constitute a committee headed by Maharaja Dr Karan Singh including stakeholder of the state.

He said that by inviting all party delegation the state government has accepted that they are incompetent to solve the Kashmir issue.

Gupta said that due to turmoil in the Valley, Jammu people suffered a lot as they are not getting their payment due.

He demanded that whenever a package is announced by the central government it is only for Kashmir while Jammu is ignored.

“The government is taking the people of Jammu for granted and even Home Minister of India did not utter even a single word of appreciation for the people of Jammu,” he said.

He said that effect of 54 days total band, causalities, mismanagement of the administration has resulted in more than 64 crores of state revenue which ultimately affect the people of Jammualso.
