JMIC Samba Rejects bail in kidnapping case

Munsiff JMIC Samba has denied bail application in Case FIR no 60/2016 under section 363/109 of Police Station Samba against the accused persons who had moved the bail application in the court.
The facts of the case are that a minor girl has been kidnapped by the accused persons from the village Karandi, Tehsil and District Samba. “The court was conscious about the fact that the kidnapped girl has not been recovered till date and the main accused is absconding from the date of commission of crime.
The accused persons are the residents of the State of Punjab and it will become difficult for investigating agency to procure their presence for investigation purpose and will also become difficult to recover the victim.
The accused are charged with such offences of huge magnitude and need of the hour is to unearth all necessary detail behind the offence to nab all the culprits and to repose the confidence of the general populace in the esteemed institution. For the reasons that have been discussed, the bail petition stands rejected,” said Munsiff Shabnam Sheikh. For the State Sr prosecuting officer Raj Kumar appeared in the court.
