JU team brings laurels to State at National Integration Camp

NSS volunteers from various colleges of Jammu region has brought laurels for state at National Integration Camp organised at Himachal Pardesh. Over 230 volunteers and 30 Program Officers hailing from 15 States participated in the camp. The unique feature of this camp is that the students of one part of the country exhibit the cultural diversity of the other part of the country. Various activities and competitions were organized starting from yoga and meditation sessions in the mornings to Cultural performances in the evening. The team from Jammu University excelled in Poster making, Slogan writing, Mono-acting, Rangoli, Exhibition and Group dance competitions winning Six trophies. The volunteers who participated in the camp were Sahil Singh, Sahil Jamwal, Ritesh Singh, Rahul Sharma, Mohd Saleem, Deepika Jaral, Vanshika Jamwal, Nandini, Jashika and Deepika Dutta. Er Khalid Sheikh from Govt Polytechnic Jammu were deputed as contingent incharge for the camp. Dr Vishav Raksha, Program Coordinator NSS appreciated the efforts of the volunteers for their performances in the camp.
