JUNTEU protest enters 8th day

Continuing the protest for 8th consecutive day in support of their long pending issues, the Non Teaching employees held a strong display of their strength to the University authorities and warned that the protest demonstration shall further intensified if their legitimate demands are not fulfilled at the earliest.
During the demonstration the employees under the banner of Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union continuing raising slogans for fulfillment of their demands. Speakers on the occasion while reiterating their demands accuses the University authorities for their callous approach towards the Non Teaching fraternity.
The President/Vice President Non Gazetted Employees Union also shared the stage and expressed their views and extended full support to the ongoing agitation of the Non Teaching Employees Union and sent a strong message to the authorities that the Non Teaching fraternity of the University are united and should not be taken lightly. Later the Executive Body of JUNTEU informed that on their directions, similar protest demonstration was also held in the offsite campuses of the University of Jammu.
Regarding the appeal made by the Registrar, University of Jammu the employees have the view that sufficient time has been given to the authorities by the Executive Body and hence they will not quit unless and untill their long pending demands are met.
The demonstration was addressed by Pawan Singh, Vijay Kumar (President. NGEU), Suraj Parkash (V P, NGEU), Ashwani Bakshi, Sham Sharma and others.
