JYF burns effigy of VC Jammu University

The activists of Jammu Youth Forum (JYF) Doda Unit today staged a protest against University authorities and also burnt the effigy of Vice Chancellor Jammu University Professor R D Sharma.
Addressing the gathering here, president Jammu Youth Forum (JYF) Doda unit Mohammad Rashid Choudhary said that according to agenda of Syndicate’s meeting, the matter was to be investigated by Crime Branch. To get the matter thoroughly investigated vis-à-vis the lapse that has occurred regarding issuance of the interview call letter to the candidate, who had not appeared in the entrance test, the same be referred to the Crime Branch.
He said that Vice Chancellor Professor Ramji Dass Sharma, who ordered the cancelation of selection process for the post of Assistant Registrars (ARs) as his daughter was also among the candidates and failed to qualify for interview phase, knew well that he would be exposed if Crime Branch would start investigation in the case so he better thought it to take the matter in Council and get it dashed on some fictitious ground.
Others who were present on the occasion included Sachin Thakur, Rajiv Manhas, Abdul Rather, Imran Farooq, Rajat Singh, Sanjay Singh, Atul Gupta, Kapil Katoch, Arun manhas, and others.
