A Kullah caught fire at village Tinde Kalan as a result eight animals charred to death.
The reason of the fire is being stated due to engulfing of wheat husk with fire kept in Kullah.
Though the service of Fire Brigade was requisitioned but till the time fire tenders rushed to the spot, Kullah owners suffered a great damage including household goods and eight animals.
Nazir Ahmad, owner of Kullah, has demanded compensation of items and animals to sustain his living.
It is to be mentioned here that report of burning Kullah and wheat crops in Jammu region particularly during this season is common but the administration has not taken lessons to take effective steps to stop fire incidents in rural areas.
