KVIB organizes awareness camp

Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board Rajouri organized an awareness camp under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme at Tourist Hut Chingus.

The function was presided over by Deputy Chief Executive Officer KVIB, Jammu, Santosh Saraf.

District Officer KVIB, Sameer Mir besides other officers of the department and prominent citizens were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Dy Chief Executive Officer called upon the unemployed youth and artisan to come forward and avail the benefits under Prime Minister Employment Generation Scheme for establishing their ventures for self employment and also to generate employment for others.

District Officer KVIB highlighted in detail the features of employment generation schemes and its objective.

The people of the area appreciated the efforts of the department for organizing the camp and appealed for organizing more such camp in the far flung areas so that the people are made aware regarding various welfare programs launched by government.
