RJD Chief Lalu Prasad’s tryst with demonetisation and his diatribe against Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues. Taking a fresh dig at the Prime Minister over demonetisation , the RJD chief wondered if there could be another definition of ‘dictatorship’ when common people could not withdraw their hard earned money from their account.
Without naming Modi, Prasad in a tweet said “Nihshabd hun, desh kya din dekh raha hai ? Aadmi apni mehnat ka jama, apna hi paisa, apne hi khate se nahin nikal sakta, Tanashahi ki koi aur paribhasha hai kya”. (Speechless, What country is watching ” Common people cannot withdraw their hard-earned money from their accounts. Is their any other definition of dictatorship”.
Prasad also used former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary today to turn the heat on Modi and the BJP .
Paying his hearty greetings to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth day and wishing him a healthy and long life, Prasad pointed out how the country, constitution and democracy was safe during his regime and also how BJP was tearing apart ‘Rajdharma’ and principles of democracy now.
Drawing a distinction between Vajpayee and Modi, Prasad said, “BJP ko Vajpayee ne sincha wo aaj unke rajdharm va loktantra ke siddhanto ki dhajjiya uda rahin hain. Videsho mein unhone hamesh desh ki badai ki”. (Vajpayee worked hard for BJP to grow but now his Rajdharma and principles of democracy are being torn apart. He also applauded achievements of the country in foreign countries during his regime).
In yet another tweet, Prasad said, “Vajpayee ji se vaicharik matbhed ke babjood unke shashankal mein, desh , sambhidan aur loktantra hamesha surakshit laga. Wo rajdharma ka purjor palan karte the. (Despite ideological differences with Vajpayee Ji, country, constitution and democracy were always safe during his regime. He always strictly followed principles of Rajdharma).
