LMP School celebrates Labour day

Lord Mahavira Playway (LMP) School celebrated Labour’s day in the school in a bit different way so that the students also know the value of not only the teachers but the workers who are working whole day behind the screen.
While addressing the gathering, Principal Madhu Sharma congratulated all the workers and acknowledges that each and every person of an organization plays vital role in its smooth functioning. She said they all work for our school and their hard work is always appreciated.
In India it is celebrated in order to honor the contribution of working men and women.
She further told the students that Labor Day in India or was first celebrated in Chennai on 1st May, 1923. Students prepared a play with the help of teachers and coming with different dresses of labor. Students welcomed them with a welcome song and other cultural programme to acknowledge that they are the important part of an organization.
