JAMMU, DECEMBER 28
Chief of Army of Northern Command Lt Gen D S Hooda, who just returned from China after heading a six-member military delegation to the country, today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra to discuss security management at the border areas.
Lt Gen Hooda called on the Governor at the Raj Bhawan here, a Raj Bhawan spokesman said.
The Governor and Gen Hooda discussed various issues relating to security management along the International Border, Line of Control, Line of Actual Control and counter terrorism operations in the hinterland, he said.
The two also discussed the implementation of various important schemes for the welfare of ex-servicemen and their families.
