Maha Gram Sabha held in Panchayat Kootah

A Maha Gram Sabha of Panchayat Kootah was held here today at Block Development Office Hiranagar.
The Sabha was chaired by MLA Hiranagar Kuldeep Raj.
A large number of people from the said Panchayat attended the sabha in presence of Assistant Commissioner Development Kathua, Pardeep Singh Manhas, Deputy District Electoral Officer Kathua Chand Kishore, District Panchayat Officer Kathua, Manpreet Kaur, Tehsildar Hiranagar Gaurav Sharma, Programme Officer (MG-NREGA) Hiranagar Vivek Gupta and BDO Hirangar Rahil Gupta.
The purpose of the Maha Gram Sabha was to formulate the Annual Shelf of Project 2017-18 under MG-NREGA and to address the grievances of general public.
During the Gram Sabha, Secretary Panchayat Lukhinder Singh Jasrotia briefed the public about various ongoing works, their status and also explained the plan formulated for proposed development activities. The people raised the concerns and needs for the development which were included in the shelf of project of 2017-18.
MLA Hiranagar assured comprehensive and inclusive development of Panchayat Kootah & also issued instructions to officials to execute the plan within a stipulated time frame.
The Assistant Commissioner Development Kathua Pardeep Singh Manhas also addressed the Public & assured them that their grievances will be redressed on priority.
The people of panchayat Kootah appreciated & thanked the administration for organising the Gram Sabha.
