Make physical infrastructure in schools

Like other private schools, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti also give stress on constructing physical infrastructure in government schools for balancing curricular and co-curricular activities among the students is an appreciated step. Her this step is appreciated across the state. For this she has directed the concerned department to do fast-pacing recruitment process so that students don’t suffer due to non-availability of teachers. This is the first time when a Chief Minister of the state takes so much pain for the student fraternity. She wants to make students to be number one like other states and will not suffer any more in any field whether it regards to studies or in the field of sports.
Her this vision is good among all, even the parents and other localides appreciate her planning to make physical infrastructure in government schools which will boost the employment among the unemployed youth and also make best sports persons in the state.
Her vision to more physical activities in school curriculum so that students get a balanced attention in developing their physical and mental faculties. She specifically asked for developing sports grounds and stadia at schools in convergence mode with other departments and agencies. She also laid emphasis on the consolidation of infrastructure at schools. She directed early completion of girls’ hostels being constructed by the society and earmarking some seats for students belonging to SC, ST and other weaker sections of society. Earlier, under RAMSA inspection around 636 middle schools in the state have been upgraded to the level of high schools. Also, 68 girls’ hostels, costing around Rs 20 crore, are under-construction across the state. The GIS mapping of all schools in the state had been initiated and it was likely to be completed by December this year. So far, 25,511 schools of 29,094 have been mapped and the remaining are likely to be mapped soon, the meeting was told. Already few months ago, She has directed the concerned department to make Heritage schools in the state to be number one among all so that more and more admissions would be done there and well trained teaching staff would teach there so that the better results will be come.
