Malik expresses shock over Mahore road mishap, seeks interim financial assistance

Former minister and senior National Conference leader Abdul Gani Malik on Saturday expressed deep grief and shock over the tragic road mishap in Village Lad of Mahore in Reasi district.

Malik expressed grief over the death of Abdul Qayoom, SPO in the accident and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and early recovery of seven people injured in the mishap.

Soon after receiving the information, the former minister took up the matter with the district administration and urged for specialized treatment of the injured. He also sought air-lifting of the seriously injured persons to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.

Malik expressed satisfaction over the air-lifting of four of the injured for specialized treatment in Jammu and prayed for their recovery.

He also sought ex-gratia relief to the next of kin of Abdul Qayoom and interim relief to the injured, besides free treatment to them. He expressed solidarity with the families whose dear ones have been injured in the accident.
