Man slips to death, pilgrim died of cardiac arrest

Jammu Tawi, July 13
A man slipped to death, while a pilgrim died of cardiac arrest in separate incidents in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to police, one Kaka Hussain, 55, son of Lal Din, resident of Majrakunad slipped and fell into a deep gorge while he was shifting his ailing wife from Majrakund to Rajouri hospital for treatment.
His body has been retrieved, police said.
In another incident, a Vaishno Devi pilgrim namely Nathuni Prasad,55, son of Chhathu Lal Prasad, resident of Bhawanipur, Tehsil Sangrampur, Champaran, Bihar was on way from Bhawan to Katra after performing Darshan, police said.
“When he reached Geeta Mandir at Banganga, became unconscious and was shifted to nearby dispensary and further shifted to CHC Katra but declared as brought dead,” police added.
