Manali-Macleodganj trekking from June 1

Tawi Trekkers J&K, the premier trekking organization of J&K, is organizing only one trekking program this summer in Manali-Macleodganj area of Himachal Pradesh.
The program, which shall consists of 45 students and two teachers in each group, is of five days and five nights duration. About 500 boys and girls in the age group of 10 to 14 years are likely to participate in the venture.
During the trek, scheduled to be organized from June one, the participants during their three days and three nights stay at Manali shall trek to the enchanting Jogni waterfall, the Manali View point besides a visit to hot water springs at Vashisht, the famous Hadimba temple and Mountaineering Museum in Atal Behari Vajpai Mountaineering Institute, Manali.
However, the highlight of this programme shall be a thrilling experience of rafting in the Beas river. The trekkers shall also have the wonderful experience of their stay in luxury tents with sleeping bags.
In the second phase of this trek the participants shall have a night stay at Chamunda where from they shall visit Macleodganj, the Seat of His Holiness Dalai Lama, besides the beautiful Dharamshala Stadium.
The participation fee which includes transportation, boarding, lodging, Rafting, museum tickets and supervision for the five days and five nights venture is Rs 4900 only.
Whereas Ram Singh Slathia, who has scaled Mount Everest, the highest peak on the earth, shall be the Director of the programme, the camp and group leaders shall include trained mountaineers and experienced trekkers Sonam Sidharth, Shawetica Khajuria, Manik Slathia, Shashi Kant Sharma, Akshay Sadotra, Punit Sharma, Sakshi Magotra, Himani Choudhary and Bhanu Partap Singh.
It is worth mentioning here that Tawi Trekkers J&K is a voluntary social and adventure sports organization run by a group of highly dedicated young boys and girls whose only aim is to spread the spirit of adventure and love of nature amongst all strata of society without distinction of cast, color, class or creed.
