Bhalessa, April 11:
Many students of various colleges and schools of the Bhalessa join National Students Union of India (NSUI) under the guidelines of the Mehran Anjum Mir State secretary NSUI in the presence of Aquib Javeed Rather College, president GDC Kilhotran was present as the chief guest.
While addressing the new entrants, Aquib said NSUI is today, not only India’s, but one of the world’s largest students’ movements. We represent each and every student of this country. Aquib said that we pursue an inclusivist, pluralist and a socialist agenda.
Aquib also added the premiere students’ body of India represents the hopes and aspirations of millions of India students, irrespective of their caste, creed, regional, religious or linguistic identities. Also Aquib College threw light on history of NSUI, which is the largest democratic students’ union of the world and had been founded by late Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi by amalgamating Kerala Students’ Union and West Bengal Chattra Parishad on April 9, 1969.
Aquib said that the NSUI takes the pledge to work for the betterment of the student community in the future also and will maintain its legacy. Further Aquib said that NSUI will organize various activities in future which will benefit the students of the State in a larger interest.
