Jammuites today woke up to a cool morning following overnight rains which led to a steep fall in the mercury.
“The minimum temperature was today recorded at 23.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average. It is down by 7.4 degrees from yesterday’s maximum temperature,” said a MeT department official.
Humidity was recorded at 50 per cent at 8.30 AM.
The MeT Office has forecast overcast conditions along with the possibility of rains during the day.
“The skies will be partly cloudy. Rain and thunderstorm are likely to occur in some areas.
“The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius,” the weatherman said.
