Mere Khayal Kehte Hain-Hindi Poetry book released

Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti released “Mere Khayal Kehte Hain”, a collection of Hindi Poetry written by Shivani Anand. Dr. Satish Vimal, an eminent Kashmiri, Hindi and Urdu poet, writer, critic presided and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was the Chief Guest. Prof. Bharat Bhushan, President Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti, Shivani Anand, author of the book, S Deedar Singh, chairman and Sunita Bhadwal were also present in the presidium.
While delivering his presidential address, Dr. Satish Vimal congratulated Shivani Anand, author of the book for her maiden publication in Hindi and said that she succeeded in reflecting the misdeeds of the society and particularly the youth of the resent times. While coding her poetry, he further mentioned that Shivani Anand very beautifully projected the real portrait of women folk and also awared the society to respect and give the due regards to the creative of humanity-the women.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn appreciated the author and said that Shivani Anand with her first publication as poet has very efficiently exhibited her thoughts in free verse style using idioms and symbols in a new combination. He further said that Shivani Anand is a multi faceted personality having additional talent of playwright, acting and anchoring. He also thanked Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti for organizing this Book release function and encouraging youth who are contributing in the field of literature.
