The police finally claimed to have cracked the mystery of missing advocate by tracing him out from Chandigarh after five days.
According to police sources, the former Sarpanch and Advocate Raman Wazir who went missing after leaving his residence at village Dhok Waziran- Nagrota on last Monday morning has been traced out from Chandigarh.
“After delving into various dimensions of the missing advocate and simultaneously reporting same to neighbouring state, today we achieved major success when police in Chandigarh informed local police about his whereabouts,” said police sources, adding “A team of local police has been sent to chandigarh and by tomorrow they will bring back the missing advocate to Jammu.”
Meanwhile, senior officers of police hesitated to share any information in this regard.
“We just received information that the advocate has been traced in Chandigarh and will be brought back to Jammu by tomorrow,” said senior police officer.
When asked about circumstances in which he was found in Chandigarh, police officer remained tight-lipped and said once the missing advocate will reach in local jurisdiction only then things will be black and white
Pertinently, the incident of missing of advocate had evoked strong protest by the relatives and fellow villager, besides strike from Bar Association Jammu (BAJ).
