Mobile Internet service restored after three days in Budgam

Mobile Internet services were restored late Wednesday night after remaining suspended for three consecutive days in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Mobile Internet service was snapped on Monday following a dispute over a piece of land between two communities in the district.
However, high speed mobile Internet service was suspended on Saturday in view of braid-chopping incidents.
“The issue between the two communities has been resolved by the district administration. However, in order to ensure peace and tranquility in among the district internet services were snapped,” said a senior police official of the district.
He said the service was restored last night following improvement in the situation.
