People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former member J&K State Advisory Board for Gujjars and Bakerwals, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mehboba Mufti are working in tandem to ensure that programmes and policies of late Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed are implemented in their letter and spirit.
This was evident from the fact that Modi assured full support of Central Government to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti led PDP-BJP coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir to move ahead on developmental front.
In his statement issued here, Choudhary said now that state and Centre has decided to move ahead shoulder-to-shoulder betterment and development of Jammu and Kashmir cannot be stopped. This is also a healthy sign that Prime Minister realizes Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s resolve to remove “gap’’ between two regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Keeping in view these sentiments, days ahead are sure to witness massive development in the shape of creation of modern infrastructure, schools, colleges, electricity and road network in Jammu and Kashmir State, he added.
Urging people to not to fall into the trap and false propaganda of failed opposition, Choudary Hamid said time has come to repeat 2002 era wherein destiny of Jammu and Kashmir will be changed and aspirations of all three regions of the state will be fulfilled. Lauding the Chief Minister for speaking her heart out and describing outstation students in Valley as ‘goodwill ambassadors’ of J&K in rest of the country, Choudhary Hamid said that contrary to this statement opposition leaders were trying to add fuel to fire in the unfortunate incident of NIT.
Choudhary Hamid urged people to have faith in the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti who is out there to deliver justice at the doorsteps of people and bring the state out of crisis created by previous regimes by their poor governance and nepotism. She is going to ensure complete transparency and accountability in the system of governance which will automatically set things in order and make Jammu and Kashmir a progressive state.
