Five accused in 2006 Mumbai train blasts case have been sentenced to death, a media report said today.

Five accused get death sentence while seven others get lifer in the case, NDTV reported.

The prosecution had demanded death penalty for 8 of the 12 accused and life imprisonment for the remaining four before Special Judge Yatin D Shinde concluded hearing arguments last week.
