Nami Dogri Sanstha hails Mehbooba Mufti

Jammu Tawi, May 19
Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) Jammu held a meeting of its executive committee to welcome the approval by President, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (to nominate Zafar Iqbal Manhas, MLC as the Vice President of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages. Manhas is currently a member of J&K Legislative Council and is also on the General Council and Central Committee of the Cultural Academy. A former Secretary of the Academy, Manhas has served the State in important positions like Secretary, State Autonomy Committee, Member, Autonomy Committee and Secretary, J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari speaking People. Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President, NDS said that Sh. Manhas is a competent person to promote and preserve art, culture and languages of the state. He said that Manhas would come forward to get the assignments of the academy complete with in specified time period. The meeting was attended by Sham Talib, Aarsh Om Dalmotra, Sham Sanmotra, Randhir Singh Raipuria, Ashok Sharma, Achhar Singh, Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President, NDS, Prof. Anupama Sharma, Advocate Nidhi Kaila and several others.
