Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Labour and Employment, Ajay Nanda today visited Tote area of Tehsil Bhamag and listened to the grievances of the locals.
The Minister was accompanied by officers of district administration Reasi led by Deputy Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar.A large number of people of Tote and Danga Kote Panchayats attended the camp and raised their issues.
Representatives of different areas apprised the Minister about the problems faced by the people due to shortage of staff in Government schools, scarcity of water and prolong power curtailment in the area. The locals also brought into the notice of the Minister important issues like dilapidated condition of roads, scarcity of ration. They sought adequate medical staff in Health Centres of Tote and Danga Kote, establishment of Veterinary Hospital at Tote, Playground at Government Degree College Bhamag besides establishment of a Bank Branch at Tote and creation of more Anganwadi centres in the twin Panchayats.Responding to the grievances and demands projected by the people, Nanda issued on spot directions to the concerned officers for resolving the problems of the people.
Highlighting various schemes launched by the Government, the Minister elaborated on the benefits being provided under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana and many more. He further urged them to avail full benefits of the schemes launched for the welfare of the common masses. He directed District Administration to reach out to the people of far flung areas by holding similar awareness cum grievance reddressal camps regularly. The Minister also distributed ration cards among the local people.
