NCC camp concludes in Bhaderwah

A 10-day combined annual training camp CATC-J5 organised by 2 Ind. Coy. NCC Bhaderwah concluded here today. The camp was conducted w.e.f. June 13, 2016. In the valedictory function of the camp, Lt. Col. DD Panday was the chief guest, Prof Z sA Hashmi Principal GDC Bhaderwah was the guest of honor and Lt. Col. Ravindra Singh presided over the function.
Dr Javid Iqbal, Dy. Camp Commandant CATC-J5 presented the camp report and welcomed the guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Lt. Col. DD Panday appreciated the organizers of the camp for providing opportunity to the youth especially the NCC cadets of Chenab Valley to get the training in social service, adventure training, mountain and rock climbing, leadership traits, drill, sports and cultural activities.
He also laid in the stress on national integration, unity and discipline among the cadets which can play a leading role in the nation building.
Dr Javed Iqbal, Dy. Commandant stressed on the Swach Bharat Abhyan, cleanliness drives, traffic awareness, fire fighting and health and hygiene.
In the valedictory the best cadets were awarded for their exemplary performance during the camp. The cadets who were awarded included cadet Junaid Sabir, Cadet, Anchal Shan, Cadet Mohd Hatif and Cadet Mohd Natiq. Lt. Vinet Kumar presented the formal vote of thanks.
The prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Major Kulbir Singh 4RR, Capt. Pawar 4RR, Lt. Sunil Kumar, Madan Lal, Jairnal Singh and others.
