NCP pays rich tributes to Jayalalitha & Dr. Ambedkar

State NCP paid homage to Dr B R Ambedkar on his 61st Mahaparinirvan Divas which was observed today . While speaking on the occasion in the central office of the NCP which was presided over by Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP chief J&K state said Dr. Ambedkar popularly also known as Babasaheb, was an Indian jurist, political leader, philosopher, anthropologist, historian, orator, economist, and editor. He was also the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of Indian Constitution.
A condolence meeting was also held to condole the sad demise of Ms Jayalalitha Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu . Thakur Randhir Singh said Ms Jayalaitha was the strongest women leader of the India not only as a five time Chief minister of Tamil nadu but also a very popular film star; she dominated the national political scene of India. Mr Singh said she empowered women and poors in her state and had 1.5 crores membership of AIADMK party. A condolence resolution was passed and two minutes silence was observed in the memory of Late Ms Jayalalitha and prayed to Almighty God to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the members of bereaved family and followers.
