NCP reconstitutes its student wing

Jammu Tawi, December 25

A meeting of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today reconstituted its student wing in which Sanjay Rana was elected as president of the body. While Parvinder Kour elected as  Vice President , Chandni Singh as General Secretary, Pooja Devi Secretary and Sars Bharti were elected Joint Secretary.

Speaking on the occasion, Thakur Randhir Singh said, “NCP is a national party recognized by the Election commission of India under the Presidentship of Sharad Pawar has branches in all the states of the country and Supriya Sule Member Parliament is incharge of  Nationalist Yuvati Congress and has organized the students and particularly girls who have become force to be reckoned . Singh said NCP has already demanded 50% jobs in J&K police for women and in other  govt departments, adding he himself was pioneering in organizing all college unions in Jalandhar when he was student there in early 50’s and wanted the students must take up the issues  of their problems with their teachers in their colleges and University, times have changed more than 60% population of the country is youth and they are the future of the country and he wanted a healthy ,vibrant and disciplined student movement in the state beside their studies they should take part in social activities .
