Abacus Teaching Institute awarded prizes to its meritorious students

Team Jammu chairman and general secretary Press Club of Jammu, Zorawar Singh today explained the benefit of abacus to the audience and stressed upon the need to teach this skill to all the students in age group of 5 to 13 years. He said abacus improves the arithmetic skills but it improves the memory, listening skills, imagination, creative, self reliance and above all self confidence of students.
He stressed upon the parents to be touch with the trainer of the children regularly for a proper feedback of there children.
He was speaking as a chief guest during an awarded distribution function organsied by Abacus Teaching Institute in the auditorium of Government Polytechnic College here.
Earlier, the center head inform the parents about the various steps taken by the institute for their welfare of the students and other activities added for the children. In between the function a demo of little kids was conducted which left the audience spell bound with the speed and accuracy of the kids.
A beautiful dance was also presented by the children during the function.
Later, the prizes awarded by the chief guest, center heads of various centers.
Center heads of various centers and other staff members received and gave a warm welcome to the chief guest. The function started with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest followed by welcome address.
