Jammu Tawi, May 24
New India Conclave, the biggest ever non-government rural outreach programme organized in association with reputed NGOs – Y4D Foundation, Avanee Foundation and Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, is an endeavor to celebrate several unsung heroes of Rural India. Offering an opportunity and platform for top most leaders of the nation and state, social activists, entrepreneurs, policy makers and youth to discuss various ideologies for rural transformation, the New India Conclave will be held in the first week of July 2018. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Ministers of various states and New India Conclave ambassador Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, among others, will be seen in attendance. The conclave is also an opportunity to get to know the thoughts of experts from Israel, Germany & USA in the field of sustainable opportunities & methodologies in rural India.
This is an effort to identify heroes, Agri-preneurs & changemakers who have demonstrated thought leadership in rural India. They will be invited to the Conclave to share their experiences & help develop models that can be successfully replicated in various states. The nationwide movement calls for entries to recognize their achievements at the New India Conclave.

On 1st May, 2018 in Mumbai, NGOs – Y4D Foundation, Avanee Foundation and Aga Khan Rural Support Programme along with Bollywood actor and brand ambassador Akshay Kumar, launched the New India Conclave nationwide campaign, the logo, website and the theme song in the presence of some of these achievers.
