NIA Carries Out Raids At Multiple Locations in Kashmir

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided many areas of the Kashmir division. The team of the investigating agency has also raided Baramulla and Srinagar. In addition, it is being told that the house of Rashid Muzaffar Gani son Muzaffar Ahmed Gani and Umar Ayub Dar son Mohammad Ayub Dar have been raided in the Haider Colony of Sopore.\

 

Earlier, in the case of terrorist funding, the NIA on Wednesday raided 17 locations of Jamaat-e-Islami in seven districts. Incriminating documents and electronic devices were seized during the raids from the premises of Jamaat office bearers and members and the premises of the suspects. This action was taken in Anantnag, Kulgam, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Budgam in Kashmir and Kishtwar and Jammu districts of the Jammu division. Earlier, during the raids on August 8 and 9, the NIA had raided 61 places in 14 districts.

Earlier on October 10, i.e. on Sunday, NIA also raided 16 places in Jammu and Kashmir. NIA had taken action in Kulgam, Baramulla, Srinagar, Anantnag. According to the information, this action has been taken in cases related to Voice of Hind magazine. The officials also raided the house of TRF (The Resistance Front) Commander Sajjad Gul. The action was taken at 16 places in Jammu and Kashmir connected with the publication of ‘Voice of Hind’ magazine (which aims to incite and radicalize youth) and recovery of IEDs. Ejaz Ahmad Tak son Ghulam Mohammad Tak, Mudasir Ahmed Ahangar son Ghulam Mohiuddin Ahangar, Nasir Manzoor Mir son Manzoor Ahmed Mir and Junaid Hussain Khan son Mohammad Hussain Khan were taken to Achabal police station, and they were interrogated.
