NIA Raids Several Places in the Valley in terror funding case, Documents Recovered

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids in Srinagar and other areas connected to the terror funding case. The team also recovered documents from the offices of the human rights activist in Srinagar, among other places. The investigation, in this case, has been going on for a long time. The NIA has said that various institutions in the Valley are getting vast amounts of money from undeclared donors.

It is also being used in terrorist activities. On Monday, NIA took action in Amira Kadal, Lal Chowk and Sonwara areas of the Valley. Last year too, NIA teams raided the residences and offices of various people, including human rights activists, in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir. The local police and paramilitary forces personnel were also present along with the agency during the operation.
