National Incredible Literacy Mission (NILM) Jammu here today concluded General Meritorious Scholarship Test 2017-18 in Ramban district.
The scholarship test is conducted in Government Higher Secondary School Ramban New Convent Institute Maitra, Ramban, National Academy Ramban, Government Girls High School Ramban, Indian Star Middle School Maitra, Government Middle School Maitra. Few days ago the test was also conducted in Government High School Chanderkote, Bharti Vidya Mandir Ramban, Kamal Academy Ramban and Ramban Public School, Ramban.
The test is being conducted in Ramban district’s winter zone under the supervision of Rakeshwar Singh Project Director NILM J&K. Speaking with media personals Rakeshwar Singh Kurhan, Project Director NILM, Jammu informed that about 500 students participated in the test from Ramban district . He further added that this scholarship test is going to help meritorious students in their studies as they will get scholarship benefits.
Thakur K D Kurhan, chairman, NILM said that their NGO will provide Rs6,000/-to topper of GMST 17-18 and Rs 2500/- will be given to rest of position holders. He further added that NGO will also provide books, notebook and geometry box and certificates to meritorious students.
Principals who supervised scholarship test included Parshotam Singh principal of Government Higher Secondary School Ramban, Mudassir Hussain principal of New convent Institute Maitra , Ramban , Falak Naaz principal of National academy Ramban and others.
