Now, withdraw upto Rs 2,000 from Big Bazaar stores

Retail major Big Bazaar on Tuesday announced the facility to withdraw upto Rs 2,000 from its stores. CEO Kishore Biyani, in a tweet, said: “Now one can withdraw 2000rs from Big Bazaar using your debit card from this Thursday onwards.” A customer will need to swipe his card at cash counter of the store, and in turn, he can take away upto Rs 2,000. The picture, attached in the tweet, also mentions easy steps to withdraw money. Earlier, public sector petrol pumps have come forward to issue cash upto Rs 2,000 with card swiping machines. This is not the first time Big Bazar has come out with such a different idea.The day demonetisation was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the company had declared that it will continue to accept old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000.
