Expressing solidarity with the family of martyr Krishan Lal who laid down his life while serving the Nation at Keran sector in Kashmir couple of days back, Balwant Singh Mankotia President Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers party (JKNPP) along with other party leaders attended his cremation at village Dharsarood of district Kishtwar and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. While interacting with the residents of the native village, Mankotia prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and demanded Rs. 20 lac compensation for the family of Late Krishan Lal.
Mankotia also met Swami Raj, father of Shaheed Krishan Lal who revealed that the martyr was his only son and brother of four sisters. He recalled that his family rejoiced when Krishan Lal had joined army one and a half years back but pal of gloom descended on the entire family and the village when the shocking news broke out that he was no more.
Later, Mankotia who was accompanied by local Party leaders including Sunil Proach, Subash Gupta, Kuldeep Kumar, Imityaz Ahmed also visited the families of bus six accident victims who lost their precious lives a fortnight back at Bidwan Dhada road. He flayed the State Govt. for showing callous attitude towards the families of the deceased and demanded Rs. 5 lac compensation each to the family of the person who died in the said accident.
The names of the accident victims including Shaid Hussein son of Mohammed Sabir Din resident of Zahand, Abida Bano daughter of Mohammed Sakhi resident of Roti Paderna, Mohinder Singh son of Girdhari Lal resident of Bidwan, Master Mohammed Syed son of Mohammed Amin Shah resident of Ghat, Prithvi Raj son of Bid Lal R/o Dharra, and Ghulam Hassan S/o Mohd. Ramzan R/o Dharra.
