Jammu Tawi, November 24
National Secular Forum (NSF) flays J&K Public Service Commission (PSC) to resist the select list which was issued by them, demanded from the State Govt. to given the equal participation in PSC recruitment to all three regions.
Addressing the press-conference here today, Dr Vikas Sharma State President NSF alleged that blue eyed candidates were being recruited by the PSC at the instance of state govt. causing resentment among the unemployment youth.
Dr Sharma said that the various selection list of the different subjects in which much preference has been given to the candidates belonging to the Kashmir regions.
He also said that besides selecting more candidates from Kashmir Valley there were also reports of corruption and nepotism being involved in the every selection process.
Disclosing the share of posts of Assistant Professor History, Computer Application found in the selection list issued by Public Service Commission, Dr.Vikas informed the press media that out of total posts of 34 of Assistant Professor in History, 24 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 08 candidates have been selected from Jammu. In the RBA category out of total of 09 posts 06 candidates are from Kashmir province while 03 is from Jammu. While in the 06 posts of Scheduled Tribe (ST) category 03 candidates is from Ladakh and another is from 1 Jammu and 2 Kashmir.
Sharma further said that out of total posts of 42 of Assistant Professor in Computer Application, 24 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 18 candidates have been selected from Jammu. In the RBA category out of total of 04 posts all candidates are from Kashmir province. While in the 05 posts of Scheduled Tribe (ST) category 02 candidates is from Ladakh and another is from 2 Jammu and 1 Kashmir.
