NSF stages protest against JKPSC, demands separate PSC for Jammu

National Secular Forum (NSF) Continues protest against PSC and torched the effigy Chairman of J&K Public Service Commission (PSC).
Protesters, led by Dr Vikas Sharma, State President National Secular Forum (NSF).
Addressing the gathering here today, Dr Vikas Sharma demanded from the State Govt. to given the equal participation in PSC recruitment to all three regions. He alleged that blue eyed candidates were being recruited by the PSC at the instance of state govt. causing resentment among the unemployment youth. He said that the various selection list of the different Subjects in which much preference has been given to the candidates belonging to the Kashmir regions.
Disclosing the share of posts of Assistant Professor Arabic, found in the selection list issued by Public Service Commission, Sharma informed the press media that out of total posts of 14 of Assistant Professor in Arabic, 11 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 03 candidates have been selected from Jammu.
He said that out of total posts of 34 of Assistant Professor in History, 24 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 08 candidates have been selected from Jammu.
He also said that out of total posts of 05 of Assistant Professor in Bio-Chemistry, all candidates have been selected from Kashmir. In the RBA category out of total of 02 posts all candidates are from Kashmir province.
He also said that out of total posts of 02 of Assistant Professor in Home Science, all candidates have been selected from Kashmir. In the RBA category out of total of 01 post all candidates are from Kashmir province.
Those who were present in the protest included, Surjit Choudhary, Narinder Singh, Papinder Singh, Neeraj, Reshikesh Rana, Deepak Khajuria, Deepak Bkashi,Mohit Singh, Vipul Neeraj, Anshu Sharma, Varun, and others.
