NSUI demands CBI probe into working of JKSSB

The National Students Union of India (NSUI) today demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the functioning of J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB).

The NSUI alleged that the Board was playing with the careers of youth and taking them for a ride.Neeraj Kundan, NSUI state president, alleged that the mismanagement during the recruitment examination on December 25 exposed the working of the Board which recruits youth for various government jobs.Kundan alleged that the Board was least bothered about the careers of youth and there was corruption at every stage while genuine candidates were being denied their rights.

The Board mana-gement should immediately resign and an inquiry should be conducted into the functioning of the board.The National Students Union of India had decided to launch a series of protests across the state and an awareness campaign among the students. Also, the paper held on December 25 should be cancelled, Kundan added.
