Omar Abdullah joins congregational Eid Nimaz at Dargah, Hazratbal

National Conference (NC) working President and Former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah on Wednesday joined the congregational Eid prayers at Dargah Hazratbal along with thousands of devotees and prayed for peace, amity and brotherhood in the State.
The NC Working President also interacted with the people and exchanged Eid greetings with them. He was accompanied by NC State Spokesperson Junaid Azim Mattu. Praying for peace and prosperity in the State, Omar Abdullah said “The spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us the courage to observe fasting in the month of Ramzan and again commit ourselves on to the path of truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, patience and human dignity”.
Interacting with the devotees, Omar Abdullah extended his warmest greetings to the people of the State and prayed this auspicious occasion becomes a new harbinger for peace and amity in the State.
