Pak again violates ceasefire along IB, LoC

Pakistan army on Tuesday again violated ceasefire by targeting Border Out Posts (BOPs) along International Border (IB) and Line of Control LoC in R S Pura and Rajouri sectors respectively inflicting splinter injuries to at least nine people and perishing huge live stock.
Reports said that Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Noushera sector of Rajouri district from 10 am by targeting forward posts along LoC with mortar bombs and small arms fire. A “befitting response” was given by own troops to the ceasefire violation. “The army is giving a befitting response to the Pakistani army and no loss of life and property has been reported so far while heavy exchange of fire continues” sources said
Pertinent to mention here a 6-year-old boy and a BSF Jawan were killed and 10 people including eight civilians were injured in the shelling on Monday when Pakistan rangers targeted over 25 border outposts in the border hamlets along International Border.
There have been over 40 ceasefire violations from the Pakistani side since the Indian side carried out surgical strikes inside Pakistan occupied Kashmir targeting terror launching pads, post the attack on an army camp in Uri on 18 September.
