Panun Kashmir has decided to convene workshops for the youth of the community in order to associate them with the struggle of the community in exile.
In a meeting held hereunder the presidentship of Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President, Panun Kashmir.
Dr Rajan Kotru, Nepal based environmentalist of international repute was the special guest who attended the meeting along with the veteran educationist B L Handoo.
Kotru was specially felicitated by the President of Panun Kashmir on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajan Kotru congratulated Panun Kashmir for its relentless work and deep commitment to the cause of the exiled community. He said that the leadership of the Pandit community is conscious of its responsibilities and in this context; Panun Kashmir has proved itself time and again.
Virender Raina, National Spokesperson said that Panun Kashmir is aware of its huge duties and will espouse the ideological issues pertaining to the struggle in exile in all circumstances.
Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President, Panun Kashmir raised a number of social, political and human rights concerns of the displaced community. He said that the new challenges need to be met resolutely. Kashmiri Pandits have an inalienable right on the territory of Kashmir and their demand for Homeland in Kashmir has multidimensional aspects.
Others who were present during the meeting included Virender Raina, National Spokesperson, Upinder Kaul, General Secretary, Kamal Bagati, Organising Secretary, Vijay Qazi, NM Gadroo, Sameer Bhat and Ruskin Bhat.
