Pardesh Mahila Congress holds meeting at Anantnag

President Pardesh Mahila Congress Indu Pawar who is on tour of Srinagar presided over a meeting of Mahila Congress workers in Anantnag. The meeting was largely attended by workers of Anantnag District. During her address to worker she said that Congress is a secular & democratic party & its ideology has maintained the secular character of our country. The progress of our state is main aim of our party. She mentioned that link between grass root workers & party office bearers are too strengthened. We should point out difficulties being faced by our masses & provide them relief by creating more avenues for employment, education and skill development. She emphasized that   Mahila workers should make it a point to meet every time in a new Village and have close interaction with them. Any discrimination on Cast, Creed and gender basis has to be removed by organizing protests or meeting authorities. Progress of our state is dependent on the empowerment of women and their participation in all walks of life may it be Govt. jobs, Private Jobs, Social Work.

To empower our society we must educate, give gainful, employment to women folk who are real workers in agriculture, House Hold and taking care & nursing of society. She thanked the women congress workers of the District and requested them to continue such meeting with aim of service to the social. Others who spoke on the occasion General Secretary PCC Hilal Shah, Mahila District Presdient Sheena Nadaf, Needa, Sumaira Masarat etc.
