Parade Geeta Bhawan Shopkeepers Association (PGBSA) presented a memorandum to the MLA East Rajesh Gupta here today today. The charter of demands presented including the construction of two speed breakers in front of the stadium gate, to repair the slabs on the drains ,to fix fresh sodium lamps in the area so that the pilgrims do not face any difficulty during the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra,proper containers be provided for the collection of the garbage in the area and the fixing of one more gate in the toilet facing stadium so as to benefit people coming from this side also.
On occasion, MLA Rajesh Gupta announced rupees 5 lakhs from his CDF for the construction of Satsang Hall at Rameshwar Mandir Parade. MLA Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by JMC health officer Dr.Safer Iqbal and senior BJP leaders Shiva Kumar Gupta, Sunil Dogra and Sanjay Mahey. Speaking on the occasion, MLA said, “Jammu east will soon be transformed into a modern city with all the amneties for its residents and in the days to come we shall be holding interactive sessions with the residents of various localities to seek their suggestions for further improvement in the area.
