PHE Daily Wagers Assn thanks members for successful strike

All J&K PHE Daily Wagers/CP Workers Association has thanked all its member for extending support to 85 days successful strike at BC road, Chief Engineers Office.
Addressing a press conference at Press Club Jammu, Tanveer Hussain the leader of the association, said the strike was successful because of all unflinching support given by all ITI trained, CP workers and Need Base workers.
He thanked all those who participated in the strike for their own sake.
“During the strike the Minister of PHE, Sham Lal Chaudhary visited BC road and assured to fulfill their genuine demands of PHE workers which include release of salary to workers by ONM, maintenance and repairing only once in a year and new wage head to give them salary every month,” he added.
He said new government has also decided to do biometric process till July 27, 2016 for regularisation while pending salary of five months to be released till August 2016.
He said following assurance given by the Minister, the strike has been called of for three months and in case their demands are not fulfilled then the strike would again be resumed.
Among others present in the press conference included Deepak Gupta, Vice-President, Subash Chander, General Secretary, Manjeet Singh, Jeevan Singh, Tilak Raj, Bhanu Partap, Arun Singh, Pawan Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Susheel Singh.
