Continuing its efforts to build the healthy relationship between Police and Public,SDPO Gandoh Sunny Gupta along with SHO Gandoh Inspector Tariq Hussain Naik organized Police-Public meetings at village Gwari and Kahaljugasar. The aims of the meetings were to strengthen the Police-Public relationship and to access the ground situations of these areas. Large number of people including Sarpanches, Panches and prominent citizens of the area participated in the meetings. The participants have appreciated the role of District Police for conducting such meetings. The participants of Village Gwari put forth their demands which includes establishment of fire station at Gwari, proper electricity supply in the area, Water supply to Jamia Masjid Gwari, Non-availability of sugar & other items in view of ongoing holy Ramadan month, Repairing of halogen lights at Gwari Market. The participants from village Kahaljugasar demands Preparing and providing of Addhar cards to the people , Checking of commercial vehicles & licences of drivers in the area, payment of compensation to the people whom lands have been occupied for the construction of link roads in the area , controlling over the distillation of desi liquor and others. The participants were assured that their demands shall be projected to the concerned departments for redressal and those pertaining to the Police & traffic Departments will be resolved on priority. Moreover, they were asked to maintain peace and communal harmony in their respective areas.
