Punit Singh Jamwal asks PDD, PHE to follow direction of CM

Seconding the statement of PDP vice president, Rangil Singh that unscheduled power cuts must be minimized for the convenience of masses, zone president of Jammu West Puneet Singh Jamwal today said that (PDD) and Public Health Engineering (PHE) authorities must adhere to the directions of Chief Minister Madam Mehbooba Mufti so that people are provided with regular and uninterrupted essential services for which the government is committed.
Puneet Singh Jamwal said that coalition government was committed to the welfare of people and government functionaries must follow the same principles especially when it comes to providing people water and electricity and that too in this scorching heat. He said that work on laying better road network is already in progress and more such developmental schemes are in pipeline as envisaged in the agenda of coalition partners. He added that social welfare department must also expedite processing of various pending cases so that real beneficiaries are given their due as per the guidelines of state as well as central government sponsored schemes. The PDP Zone President meantime urged party workers to gear up for municipal corporation polls and strengthen hands of party chief in days to come. He said that pace of progress on developing Jammu city was going on at desirable pace yet some corrupt leaders of previous regime were trying to project a shady picture which is not true.
