Social Activist and Convener Sangharsh RTI Movement Balvinder Singh along with other social activists today discussed the ailing condition of Raja Jambu Lochan’s Pratima Sthal.

He added that Jammu city is founded on the ethos of “Unity in Diversity” where Lion and goat live, eat and drink together which never happened anywhere else.

He maintained that the place has been bearing the blunt of neglect by the Jammu Development Authority for the last so many years.

He said that even the statue of King Jambu Lochan and that of the lion and the Goat drinking water from the same stream are also covered with gross all over. The fountain and the stream in the middle of park are also in deplorable condition.

The activists also condemned the lethargic approach of the JDA towards the development authority; it was urged upon the Vice Chairman JDA Mubarak Singh to immediate take up the renovation work of the park.
