Rana condoles demise of Ali Mohammed Naik

Provincial president National Conference (NC) Devender Singh Rana has expressed deep grief over the passing away of veteran party leader and former minister Ali Mohammed Naik, describing him a dedicated leader who left an indelible mark of selfless service towards people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The state has lost a leader of high political and administrative acumen”, Rana said while recalling his contribution in various capacities as a minister and Speaker of Legislative Assembly. He said Naik was a keen political observer and remained active till his end. He conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here to pay tributes to Naik.
The speakers threw light on his political career and recalled his immense contribution towards the people, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, region and religion. A 2-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
Those who condoled the demise of Ali Mohammed Naik included Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, former minister, Surjeet Singh Salathia, former minister, Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari, former minister, Rachpal Singh former minister, Abdul Gani Malik, former minister, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, provincial secretary Jammu Province, Kashmir Singh, state vice president, Ex-MLC, Babu Ram Pal and others.
