RET Forum elects provincial body, discusses burning issues

All J&K ReT Teachers Forum on Sunday held a monthly meeting at Exhibition Ground Jammu under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma where in the provincial body of the forum was elected. The body including Rajesh Jamwal as president, Surjit Chib as senior vice president, Wasim ul Hassan and Ashok Seth as vice presidents, Rajinder Singh and Vijay Sharma as as General Secretaries, Sanjay Parihar and Ali Murtza as secretaries, Pawan kumar and Anwar Hussain as joint secretaries, Subash Chowdhary as convenor , Rinku Sharma as Chief coordinator, Dilbag Singh, Sajad Rahi and Mushtaq Ahmed as coordinators, Parmod Sharma as Chief Finance secretary, Vika kumar Navjot Singh and Rajinder Singh as finance secretaries, Ravinder Manhas as chief organiser, Manor Chowdhary, Gurdyal, Rajit Singh and Manzoor Malik as organisers, Pankaj Verma as chief publicity secretary, Altaf Hussain, Arshad Abdullahand Gurvinder Singh as publicity secretaries, Jugal Dubey as chief advisor, Shoukat chowhan, Alyas Butt and Tanveer Ahmed as advisors ,Chamail Singh and Pawan Verma as spokespersons, Mohd Saleem as chief legal advisor, Jyoti Sharma, Abdul Shaqoor and Baseer Wani as legal advisors. Meanwhile the newly elected body assured to work for the betterment of ReT cadre. State president Vinod Sharma appealed the Government to publish the list of study centers first before proceeding towards the process of screening test. He also demanded the streamlining of SSA salary which is still pending for last 3-5 months as the family members of these teachers are suffering badly . He also demanded regularisation of ReTs/ KGBV teachers and Distance Mode Degree Holders and said that not to force them to come on roads.
